Maine Gandhi Ko Nahin Mara
Twenty-three years after Richard Attenboroughs 1982 film, Gandhi, a rash of films, some of which have already been released, promise to bring back the fading images of the Mahatma in technicolour. Ketan Ranga lists the films Maine Gandhi Ko Nahin Mara: The film is directed by a nine-time National Award winner Jahnu Barua and stars Anupam Kher, Urmila Matondkar, Boman Irani, Parvin Dabbas, Vishwaas Pandya, Prem Chopra and Waheeda Rehman. While no one plays Gandhi, the story is based on a retired professor who loses his memory and feels hes killed the Mahatma. Kher is producing the movie and is essaying the role of the retired professor. The film will be released on September 30.
